INTERIM POSITIONS OFTEN AVAILABLE

CAS is frequently contacted by districts in need of an interim administrator for a variety of positions (principal, assistant principal, dean of student, etc.) and for varying lengths of time. If you are planning to retire this June or know of a recently retired colleague who might be interested in serving in an interim position, please send a resume to Ev Lyons at elyons@casciac.org. CAS simply serves as a clearinghouse for candidates, passing along to districts any resumes we have on file, and is not involved in the selection process.

STUDENT VOICES CONTEST DEADLINE EXTENDED

After five consecutive weeks with snow days for most districts, we wanted to ensure students had sufficient time to develop the strongest possible videos and essays for this year’s CT Student Voices Contest. Therefore, we’ve decided to extend this year’s entry deadline to Monday, March 16th. Now is the time for your students to make their voices heard and share their great ideas for improving education in Connecticut. We’re very impressed by the essays and videos we’ve received thus far, but we want to hear from more districts! Even with a deadline extension in place, time is ticking!
