New Britain - Danny Williams ran 19 times for 128 yards and four touchdowns to lead second-seeded Hillhouse of New Haven past Windham, 28-6, in the CIAC Class M final at Arute Field on the campus of Central Connecticut State.

Williams, who also had two catches for 63 yards and two sacks, was named team MVP for the Academics (11-1). He scored on runs of 4, 20, 4 and 8 yards

Jon Torres had seven carries for 28 yards, four catches for 25 yards and an interception for the top-seeded Whippets (11-1) and was named team MVP.

Addison Fleming scored on a 14-yard run for Windham.

Sophomore quarterback Spencer Beaudreault scored on a fourth-down run and later threw a 77-yard touchdown pass, leading Windham to a 22-0 victory over Ledyard in the Class M semifinals, the first playoff victory in program history.

Beaudreault's towchdown run capped a 10-play drive late in the first half, giving Windham a 6-0 halftime lead.
Junior Addison Fleming caught a 12-yard touchdown pass for the Whippets (11-0), just before senior Kyle Brueckner caught the 77-yard scoring pass late in the third period.

Windham's Jovon Williams caught four passes for 31 yards.

Ledyard, in the playoffs for the third time in four years, finishes 8-3.

East Haven - Danny Williams scored three times and blocked a punt to set up a fourth touchdown as Hillhouse-New Haven defeated St. Bernard/Norwich Tech, 40-0, in a CIAC Class M semifinal at Frank Crisafi Field.

Hillhouse (10-1) took a 28-0 first quarter lead despite running just nine offensive plays.

Williams scored on an 11-yard run and then intercepted a tipped pass and returned it 9 yards to give the No. 2 Academics a 14-0 lead with 7 minutes, 54 seconds left in the first quarter.

Paul Corona of Hillhouse recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown after teammate Donte Wright fumbled it at the goal line. Williams later blocked a punt in the end zone, which was recovered by teammate Jaron Grier to push the Academics lead to 28-0 with 5:25 still left in the first period.

Keerome Lawrence scored on a 94-yard run for Hillhouse and Williams added a 10-yard touchdown run.

Christian Mulcahy ran 14 times for 31 yards, had a 24-yard catch and recoverd a fumble for the No. 3 Saints (8-2-1).
