School Entered Directions 1. Directions to Prince Tech/Moriarty Field From 84 west take exit 45 (Flatbush Ave.) Take a left at the end of the exit. Go through the next two lights and the Prince Tech entrance is the fourth driveway on your right at the bottom of the hill just before Chandler St. Use the ramp just behind 'The Thinker' statue to enter gym. From 84 east take exit 44 At the stop sign bear to the left. Take a right at the light (Prospect St.) Bear to the right at the light on to New Park Ave. Take a left on to Flatbush Ave (2nd light). Go through three lights and Prince Tech is the 4th driveway on your right at the bottom of the hill just before Chandler St. Use the ramp just behind 'The Thinker' statue to enter gym. 2. West Hartford Reservoir (Cross Country) Directions to West Hartford Reservoir Take 84 West to exit 39 (RT 4) Farmington. At the 1st light take a right following the signs for the UCONN Dempsey Medical Center. This is Farmington Ave. Go straight past the medical center for approx. 2 miles? The entrance to the MDC Reservoir is on your left at the light. Follow the winding road all the way back to the dirt parking lot. 3.. Directions to Dillon Stadium in Hartford (Football) I-91 Heading North: Get off at Exit 27, turn left at end of exit onto Brainard Road. At the next light turn left onto Airport Road. At your second light take a right onto Locus Street. When you come to a stop sign you will see the park off diagonally to you left. Football/Soccer teams should go straight at the stop sign and the field will be off to your right. . I-91 Heading South: Get off at Exit 27, turn right at end of exit onto Airport Road. At your first light take a right onto Locus Street. When you come to a stop sign you will see the park off diagonally to you left. Football/ Soccer teams should go straight at the stop sign and the field will be off to your right. I-84 Heading East: Take 84 East into Hartford and get onto 91 South. Get off at Exit 27, turn right at end of exit onto Airport Road. At your first light take a right onto Locus Street. When you come to a stop sign you will see the park off diagonally to you left. Football Soccer / teams should go straight at the stop sign and the field will be off to your right. I-84 Heading West: After you pass the Cinema City Movie Complex on 84 west, you will see signs for the Charter Oak Bridge (Route 15) this is a left hand exit. Stay in center lane, you will see a sign for the Brainard/Airport Road Exit, at the end of the exit turn left onto Brainard road. At the next light turn left onto Airport Road. At your second light take a right onto Locus Street. When you come to a stop sign you will see the park off diagonally to you left. Football/ Soccer teams should go straight at the stop sign and the field will be off to your right. 5. Goodwin Park Tennis Courts - 1192 Maple Ave. From Prince Tech - Off of 84. Follow Flatbush Ave East to the end. Take a right on Zion St. Bear left at the fork in the road and go straight thru the light on to Fairfield Ave. Take a left at the third light (Freeman St.). At the next light take a right on to Maple Ave. Follow Maple Ave up the hill for about .2 miles and take a left in to the drive way for the golf course. Turn right and follow the drive way for 100 yards until you see the tennis courts on you right. From 91 S – Take the Airport Rd. Exit. At the end of the exit is a light, take a right. Follow airport Rd. which turns into Brown St. for about 1mile. At the light take a left on to Maple Ave. Follow Maple Ave. For about ˝ mile. As you are going up the hill you will see the entrance to the Goodwin Park Golf course. Take a left into that parking lot. Follow the parking lot to the end and the tennis courts will be right in front of you. From 91 N – Take the Airport Rd. exit. At the end of the exit take a left. Follow the directions from 91 S from here. From RT 5/15 South - Take the Merritt Pkwy (RT 5/15)which turns into the Berlin Tpke (RT 15). Follow the Berlin Tpke all the way to Hartford. You’ll pass a little shopping plaza on your right, cemetery on your left, just before Hartford. Go 1/4 mile and bear to the right at the fork in the road just after the light. Goodwin Park is on your right. The drive way for the golf course and tennis courts are on your right just after the fork (Maple Ave.) 6. Baseball Field - Hyland Park - New Britain Ave. From Prince Tech - Follow Flatbush Ave East to the end. Take a right on Zion St. Bear right at the fork and go to the stop sign. Hyland Park is across the street. Drive straight ahead in to the parking lot. 7. Softball Field - Rocky Ridge - Zion St. From Prince Tech - Follow Flatbush Ave East to the end (.2 miles). At the stop light drive straight across the street into the parking lot of Rocky Ridge Field. 8. Golf Course - Goodwin Park From Prince Tech - Off of 84. Follow Flatbush Ave East to the end. Take a right on Zion St. Bear left at the fork in the road and go straight thru the light on to Fairfield Ave. Take a left at the third light (Freeman St.). Follow the directions from 91 S from here. 9. Job Corp Freshmen Football -is a field on the back south side of the walmart plaza. When traveling east on Flatbush ave (toward Hartford) it is a right at (William 'shorty' Blvd.) just past the walmart plaza and just before Brookfield St. where Prince Tech is located. Follow William 'shorty' Dr to the end and park in the circle next to the fence. You have to walk into Job Corp and the field is off to the left. If you take 84 west then you take the Flatbush ave exit and take a left and your first right is William 'shorty' Blvd. |
