School Entered Directions Directions to Career High School. Located on Route 34 in New Haven, one block west of Yale New Haven Hospital on Legion Ave (Route 34). From I 95 or from I 91, take Exit 1, (route 34). Go past Yale NH Hospital, ( on your left ) Go to Orchard Street, 6 traffic lights, take a left, then left on route 34 going back toward the hospital. School is on right. From Danbury area take Route 34 past Yale Baseball field to Ella Grasso Blvd. Take a right on Ella Grasson Blvd (also call Rt 34), go to first set of lights and take a left onto Legion Ave (Rt 34) Go two traffic lights and the school is on your right. Soccer, Baseball, Tennis, Softball East Shore Athletic Fields From the East: Take I-95 South to Exit 51. At the end of the exit ramp, continue straight onto Route 1/North Frontage Road and proceed .7 miles. Continue straight at the intersection of Route 337/Townsend Avenue -- for .1 mile. Turn left onto Woodward Avenue and proceed .9 miles. The entrance to East Shore Park is located on the right. OR, continue an additional 3 miles, at which point there is the second entrance to the Park. From the West: 1-95 North -- Take exit 50 of I 95,(first exit after crossing Q-Bridge) Take a right at the exit, (Townsend Ave) and go 1 1/2 miles. Fields are on your right at blinking light.(Baseball, softball are the 1st blinking light, Tennis is the 2nd blinking light) Golf Alling Memorial Golf Course . Take I-91, exit 8 Route 80 toward East Haven. Go down Rt 80 to Eastern Circle. Take right hand turn onto Eastern Circle. Golf course is located at 35 Eastern Circle. Cross country meet. Edgewood Ave park. Located on Whalley Ave in the Center of the Westville section of New Haven. From I-91/95 get off and follow directions to Career. Do not turn off Rt 34. Go to Ella Grasso Blvd, turn right and go to Walley Ave. Turn left on Walley and the entrance to the park is the 3rd traffic light. Turn left. From Danbury, follow directons to Career, but turn left on Ella Grasso Blvd, go to Walley Ave and turn left, the entrane to the park is the 3rd traffic light, turn left. Bank is on the corner. |
