School Entered Directions All sports contests are played at Farmington High School except the following: Boys/Girls Soccer (All levels) - at Tunxis Mead Park Baseball (Varsity) - at Tunxis Mead Park Softball (All levels) - at Tunxis Mead Park Ice Hockey (Varsity) - at Simsbury International Skating Center Boys/Girls Swimming - at Miss Porters Pool, Farmington Boys/Girls Cross Country - Winding Trails Freshman Football - Westwoods Upper Elementary School DIRECTIONS TUNXIS MEAD PARK - Take Rt. 84 (84 West from Hartford; East from Waterbury) to Exit 39. Proceed straight off exit onto Route 4 West. Take a Left onto Route 10 South at first light (not counting light at end of highway). At second light take a Right onto Meadow Road (white picket fence). Tunxis Mead Park is straight ahead about 1 mile on the right. FARMINGTON HIGH SCHOOL - Take Rt. 84(84 West from Hartford; East from Waterbury) to Exit 39. Proceed straight onto Route 4 West throught Farmington center. Continue on Route 4 West approximately 3 miles. Take a Right onto Monteith Drive (light) you will see the Town Hall on the Right. The high school is at the top of the hill. SIMSBURY INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY RINK - 84 West(From Hartford) to exit 39. Proceed straight onto Route 4 West. At intersection of Rt. 10 go right onto Rt. 10 North. Continue 5 miles until intersection of Rt. 44. Go left onto 44 West. Route 10 follows Rt. 44 for approximately 1.5 miles. When Route 10 North goes Right, take a right onto Rt. 10 North. Follow Rt. 10 North into Simsbury and past Simsbury center. Continue an additional 3 miles and you will see Skating Center on the Left. There are international flags hanging on poles. It is just after Wagner Ford which is also on your left. MISS PORTERS POOL- 84 West(From Hartford) to exit 39(Rte 4-Farmington). Straight off exit onto Route 4 West. Pass over Route 10 and take next left onto Garden St. Continue past stop sign and pool is on the right. WINDING TRAILS-(located on Farmington Ave) Take 84 West (From Hartford) to exit 39. Continue straight onto Route 4 WEST. Continue about 2 miles, you will pass the intersection of RT. 10 and Tunxis Golf Course. Take a right onto Devonwood Drive and bear left into Winding Trails Facility. WEST WOODS UPPER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-(Judson Lane, Farmington) From Hartford, take Rt. 84W to exit 39B Brisol Rt. 6. Continue straight off the exit onto Route 6 West. At seventh light (counting the one at the end of the exit) turn right onto Judson Lane. School is up about 1/2 mile on the right. From Waterbury, take 84E to exit 37, Fieneman Rd. At end of exit go left. Continue through light and at intersection of Rt. 6 go left onto Rt. 6 West. Continue(approximately 2.5 miles) to fifth light and turn right onto Judson Lane. |
