School Entered Directions Directions to Sacred Heart Academy George Bedocs AD 288-2309 x321 Soccer-Field Hockey- Volleyball-Track-Basketball- Softball- Lacrosse- Cross Country - Fields are to the left of school. From I-95(east or west of New Haven) Proceed toward New Haven to exit 48. Proceed north on I-91 to Exit 10. Take Exit 1 off connector to stop light and turn Left. Proceed about 500 feet to next light and turn Left onto Hartford Turnpike .At next light turn Right onto Dixwell Avenue. Proceed about 4 miles- you will pass Hamden Town Hall, Hamden Mart, Hamden Plaza, Hamden High School, you will go under the Wilbur Cross Parkway, and will pass Dunkin Donuts on your right. At the next light , turn right onto Benham Street .Proceed about ½ mile up hill and just before the second light bear right into the entrance of Sacred Heart Academy. The school is ¼ of mile up the driveway to your front. From I-91 South Proceed south, get off at exit 10 and follow directions above From Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway ( southbound or northbound) Proceed to exit 60 and turn right at the light onto Dixwell Avenue. Follow the above directions as you pass Dunkin Donuts. Pine Rock Park (JV Softball) Follow directions to Benahm Street Do not turn into the entrance to SHA Continue on Benham St Down hill and take the second left onto Lane Street. Lane becomes Brook Street and Brook will become Pine Rock Avenue. Field is on the left. Paradise Country Club (Tennis) 83 Hill Street Hamden Exit 60 off Rt. 15 Merrit parkway. North on Dixwell Avenue. Go approx. 1/2 mile to light at Skiff St. (Look for Toys R Us, Walmart, and Kohls, stores on left) Turn left at Skiff St; up hill and follow till the end. (Last part of road is called Howard Drive.) At end of Howard turn right onto Paradise Ave. and follow to a four way stop sign. Turn left onto Hill Street. Paradise Country Club, 83 Hill Street, is 1/8 mile on the right. Tennis courts are toward the rear of the complex on right. Exit 10 off I 91- Take exit 1 on right off exit 10. Turn left at the light. At the next light turn left. At the next light turn right onto Dixwell Ave. Take Dixwell Ave. to Skiff Street and turn right onto Skiff Street. Follow above. From SHA- Turn right at the end of the driveway. At second light turn right onto Paradise Ave. At fork in the road stay to the right, remaining on Paradise Ave. Then follow above. Quinnipiac University (Tennis) Take exit 10 off I-91. Follow connector to Whitney Avenue (Rte 10) and turn right. Follow Whitney about 2-3 miles to Mt. Carmel Avenue (watch for signs for Sleeping Giant State Park). Turn right. College is on your right. Look for parking lot for gymnasium. SWIMMING: DIRECTIONS TO ALBERTUS MAGNUS POOL: Take Rt. 91 to Exit 6 (Willow Street Exit) turn RIGHT at stop sign onto Willow Street. At the first traffic light turn RIGHT on to Mitchell Drive. Mitchell Drive will become Cold Spring Street, follow to the end. Turn RIGHT on to Whitney Avenue. At the First Church on your LEFT turn LEFT onto Huntington Street and continue over Prospect Street and the pool will be on your RIGHT, on the corner of Winchester Avenue And Huntington Street.
