CAS Middle Level Fine Arts Committee Minutes February 27, 2003
In attendance were: Vaughn Ramseur, Joyce St. Germaine, Meg Shea and Earle Bidwell
1.0 Review of Registration Document: Changes were noted in the time schedule for the day ( 8:30 3:00) with registration from 8:30 to 9:00. An addition to the box at the end of the same panel should include, Feel free to bring a snack or beverage for the morning session. Lunch will be provided. Conference registration cost is $25 a person for 1 teacher and three students in schools with enrollments up to 500. Schools with enrollments over 500 may send up to two teachers and 6 students.
2.0 Workshop Presenters Update: Barbara Ripa has not heard from Joanne Hunter regarding possible presenters. It was decided to allow one more week to see if that contact will be fruitful after which Vaughn Ramseur will contact Dean Calafiore at UH for other sources for presenters.
3.0 Materials Inventory: the committee completed a materials inventory from last years left-overs. Janice Grecco will type the list and make it available before materials need to be ordered for next year.
4.0 Other: Because breakfast will not be served at the conference this year, CAS will provide Dunkin Donuts and a Box of Joe for the presenters. They will be asked to arrive prior to 8:30. The committee is grateful to Barbara Ripa for the wonderful photographs from last years conference.
