Teacher Evaluation Series - Register Now

CAS will be presenting its annual Teacher Evaluation Series with a bit of a different twist this year.

With the advent of the Educator Evaluation and Development Model (SEED), this year's series will focus on that model as the evaluation process for exploration and discussion. Featured presenters will include Atty. Tom Mooney setting the legal basis for educator evaluation as well as Diane Ullman from the CSDE who will discuss the role of curriculum as a basis for effective instruction. Three sessions will be devoted to the SEED model as well as techniques for structuring the workday to do "the right work" relative to an instructional priority.

Registration for this 5-part series is limited to 80 participants. If demand results in a significant waiting list, a second series will be held later in the school year.

This series will qualify participants to receive the 15 hours of staff supervision CEU credit mandated under state law for continued licensure. Please have your 10-digit Educator Identification Number (EIN) available for registration.

The 5-part series will run January – February 2013. The cost is $200 per registrant for the FUll 5-part series. Registration Deadline is January 4, 2013 or when registration is full. For questions related to registration, please contact Noreen Liberopoulos at CAS at nliberopoulos@casciac.org or at (203) 250-1111.
