Cas Leads Training On New Administrator Evaluation Model

CAS is leading the work across the state in training administrators on the new (SEED) System for Educator Evaluation and Development. CAS staff have already worked in eight of the pilot districts to roll-out the state model and workshops have been planned for eight non-pilot districts to date. The High School Board of Control, New Leaders Academy and Assistant Principals Committee have all hosted workshops at CAS headquarters for their constituent groups on this new model.

CAS staff will present at the Waterbury campus of the University of Bridgeport on December 10 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. This seminar will be open to all public school leaders with registration limited to the first fifty to register via the CAS conference registration site. Look for SEED Waterbury Administrator Evaluation Seminar.

Additional workshops are being planned for the Bridgeport campus of University of Bridgeport as well as Central CT State University. CAS trainers will be able to meet on-site in a limited number of districts and interested districts are asked to contact Dr. V. Everett Lyons, Assistant Executive Director, at
203-250-1111.
