The CAS Student Activity Division, now partnered with CT FIRST, has set a date and location for the CT FIRST State Robotics Competition. On May 11th, the Hartford Armory will be the host location for this inaugural event!!

Keep an eye on our site and check back soon, more information will be available in the near future.

Please note that registration will only be open to teams that have built a robot within the FIRST Robotics Competition. Schools who have participated in the FIRST Tech Challenge will also not be eligible to register.
While registration is limited, we invite and encourage ALL High Schools and their students to attend this event.

Holding a State Robotics Championship following the FIRST model fits in with promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, etc., plus it is a sport "for the mind" that is grooming our youth to be productive, tech-savvy future workers, something greatly needed in CT
