Just A Few Spots Left! Summer Leadership Institute - Register Today!!!

CAS, with support from CSDE, CASCD, and SERC, is again sponsoring the 2013 Summer Leadership Institute. Registration is now open for this year's institute which will be held June 27th and 28th, at The Heritage Hotel in Southbury.

Two significant things have occurred since the last summer leadership institute (SLI). First, a significant revision of the Common Core of Leading: Connecticut School Leadership Standards has been approved by the State Board of Education. Second, SEED has operationalized these standards by incorporating them into the new administrative evaluation guidelines. The focus of this year's SLI is to make sense of these changes and their implications for leaders throughout our schools and districts.

Provision is included as well for the 3 "Rs" of relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation.

The registration fee includes your overnight stay - but the price is not reduced if the registrant doesn't stay overnight. Please follow the registration link (below) to register your group. In addition, please fill out the Excel form (below) to provide detailed registration information on each of your group's participants and return it in Excel format to Erin Guarino at eguarino@casciac.org. This can be done after your online registration.

REGISTRATION
There are two steps to the registration. The first is submission of your initial registration information online, which will hold your group's place. The second is the submission of an Excel file with the following details for each participant: First & Last Name, Phone, Email, School, Job Title, District, Level, Address, City, Zip, and whether or not each person will be staying overnight, just for dinner or neither. As long as you fill out the online registration we will hold your group's place, the Excel file can be filled out and e-mailed later to Erin Guarino (eguarino@casciac.org). Be sure to save the file in Excel format (not a PDF).
