Position Paper On Principalship Prepared By Prin. Center
The Critical Issues Committee of CAS's Principal's Center, chaired by Michael Galluzzo, principal of East Farms School in Farmington, has written a position paper titled: The 21st Century Principal: A Call to Action. The paper, approved by the CAS Board last fall, outlines the leadership responsibilities of the contemporary principal and states the conditions needed to enable the principal to meet these responsibilities.
Finally, there is a "call to action" directed to all educational constituencies to address how the enabling conditions can be met. Copies have been sent to all schools and central offices and will be sent to a variety of constituencies in the state.
