CAS, CAPSS and CABE have issued a joint response to the commissioner's proposal for secondary school reform which was adopted by the state board of education in December 2007.

In communicating this response to the commissioner, the organizations expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to engage in a thoughtful discussion of how to improve our schools and reiterated their belief that the continued involvement of the members of all three organizations with the Commissioner, members of the Department, the State Board of Education, and the General Assembly cannot help but result in the continuous improvement of public education for all of Connecticut’s children.
