2009 Fall Leadership Workshop Series
The Connecticut Association of Student Councils is proud to offer several Student Leadership Workshops this fall to member high schools. Please note that students are required to be accompanied by an advisor/chaperone.
We have partnered with many athletic leagues to offer you the choice that best suits your schedule and needs. We will offer a variety of speakers as we explore the themes of COMMUNICATION AND TEAM BUILDING.
An Advisors' Workshop, planned by Executive Directors Sarah Jones and Don Gates, will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Connecticut Association of Schools in Cheshire. This session is for club, class, honor society and student council advisors. Priority registration will be given to middle and high school advisors. Deadline to register is November 6th.
The first Student Leadership Workshop will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Griswold High School in Griswold. Priority registration will be given to member schools in the Eastern Connecticut Conference. Deadline to register is November 30th.
The second Student Leadership Workshop will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Lewis Mills High School in Burlington. Priority registration will be given to member schools in the Berkshire League. Deadline to register is October 13th.
The third Student Leadership Workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Naugatuck High School in Naugatuck. Priority registration will be given to member schools in the Naugatuck Valley League. Deadline to register is October 19th.
The fourth Student Leadership Workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 (Election Day) at Rocky Hill High School in Rocky Hill. Registration for this workshop is open to any member High School. Deadline to register is October 30th.
The fifth Student Leadership Workshop will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Pomperaug High School in Southbury, CT. Priority registration will be given to member schools in the Southwest Conference. Deadline to register is November 16th.
Refunds will not be available for non-attendance or cancellation one week prior to an event.
