2026 CAS-CIAC Empowerment Day
Join Connecticut students for an inspiring leadership experience at the State Armory and Legislative Office Building (LOB), featuring engaging panel discussions from the Men of Color in Leadership and Women in Leadership tracks, along with interactive breakout sessions designed to amplify student voices and develop leadership skills rooted in identity and purpose. More than a day of motivation, this experience gives students the tools, confidence, connections, and inspiration to create meaningful change in their schools and communities; all while experiencing spaces where leadership and civic engagement come to life.

Schools may register up to 24 students and 2 advisors. All young men will attend the Men of Color in Leadership Panel Discussion during session 1 and then will be assigned a breakout during session 2. All young women will attend the Women in Leadership Panel Discussion during session 2 and will be assigned a breakout during session 1.
Lunch WILL NOT be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunches.
