Create a Culture Focused on Learning Using Learning Blocks

This presentation will instruct school leaders on how to create a focus on learning in their schools using the Learning Block Process. Not only is the Learning Block Process a great tool to support student learning but it is also a great tool to create a culture of continuous learning for adults. Learning blocks are cycles of planning, teaching, assessing, and using the results to take action in order to improve student learning. Participants will learn how to create a culture of collaboration in schools focused on the right work and centered around common formative assessments and student-centered action plans. Participants will also learn about the different tools available for staff to facilitate, monitor, and coach the learning block process as well as how to support teachers in effectively using a flex block.
