This three-session training series offers educational professionals and community partners an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and its role in supporting the safety, health, and well-being of Connecticut’s children and families. Participants will explore how DCF operates, what the Department is learning from the reports and investigations it receives, and what those experiences can tell us about the challenges facing children and families in our communities. The series will also highlight the many community-based resources and supports available to families—because strengthening connections to help early can make a meaningful difference before challenges escalate or DCF involvement becomes necessary.
