Difficult Conversations: Keys to Effective Changes
In this session, presented by Jeff House, Consultant, we will practice strategies that we, as school leaders, must lean into when members of our staff or the school community violate norms or fail to meet expectations. Participants will get to practice strategic approaches in isolation, and then apply the skills holistically by role-playing a conversation based on a real accountability issue with someone at your school. Our objective is for you to leave this session with increased skills and confidence for leaning into this particular kind of difficult conversation, and also with a blueprint for how to train other leaders in your school or district to also lean into accountability conversations effectively.- No Charge for participants from CAS member schools. Participants from non-Member schools will be assessed a fee of $50.- Select your school under "Affiliation". Select your district under "Affiliation" ONLY if you work in Central Office. Please enter school/district contact information only. No personal addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses.- Registration questions, please contact Noreen Liberopoulos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
