Fall Leadership Institute
Registration is now open for the 2019 Annual Fall Leadership Institute, hosted by the CT Association of Schools, on September 24 (at the Heritage Hotel, Southbury) and October 1, 2019 (at the CAS central office, Cheshire). This year’s sponsors are the CT Department of Public Health, Jostens and Pullman and Comley, LLC. This year’s theme is “21st Century Vision: Leading the Integration of Social, Emotional and Academic Learning”. Dr. Deb Silver, noted author, will be our keynote speaker and one of our breakout session presenters. Additional breakout sessions, highlighting district and building-level leadership, will be offered by educators from New Haven, Killingly, Manchester, and New London. Patrick Flynn, CEO of Revision Learning, and Diane Dugas, Director, Center for Educational Leadership, will facilitate our work on Day 2 that will lead to the development of action plans for implementation in the fall. A continuing feature of the conference will be the onsite presence of resource providers who can support the work of conference attendees when they return to their districts or schools. Refunds are not available for cancellations made after Sept 1, 2019 or for non-attendance at the event.
