SAT English/Language Arts - Train the Trainer
This workshop will begin with a quick overview of the SAT® and PSAT/NMSQT® score scales, Benchmarks, and the EBRW test scores and sub-scores. We will:• delve into test items and map these to CT standards and the College Board EBRW test specifications and content domains,• review new e-learning modules and other curriculum resources to help schools and districts get the most out of the College Board Suite of Assessments,• spend time with the SAT optional Essay, the scoring rubrics for the essay, and Khan Academy supports for writing, and• build in some collaboration time to give participants an opportunity to develop strategies for next steps with other attendees in the workshop.- Those invited to attend are English/language arts teachers, department heads and curriculum leaders.- Please enter school/district contact information only.
