CIAC 2023 Sportsmanship Conference
The 17th annual CIAC Sportsmanship Conference will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, CT. The event will feature engaging keynote speakers and interactive sportsmanship panels with student-athletes, coaches and officials. We will reintroduce our “Class Act Schools” program with updates, highlights and a spotlight on lessons learned to date. Recipients of the Fred Balsamo Sportsmanship Awards will be announced. Select schools will make video presentations highlighting sportsmanship success stories. Schools are invited to bring student leaders who will carry the learning forward both on the field and in the building. Athletic Directors and School Administrators are urged to attend. CAS-CIAC is asking as many schools as possible to attend and will not limit the number of participants for the day. Register early so our team can plan meal and space requirements for this exciting and important day! Please have your students eat before they arrive at the venue. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:45am.
