Urban Leaders Action Network: Real Strategies, Real Challenges, Real Urban Leadership
Leading in an urban school or district requires a unique kind of commitment, creativity, and resilience. The Urban Leaders Action Network is designed for leaders who understand the complexity of this work and want to learn with others who are navigating similar challenges. This peer-led network will bring urban leaders together three times during the school year to share effective practices, exchange ideas, and learn directly from colleagues across districts. Each session will include brief, focused presentations from peers using a 10-slide, 20-seconds-per-slide format. In just 3 minutes and 20 seconds, leaders will share impactful moves, strategies, and practices that have helped move their schools forward. Participants will leave with practical ideas they can adapt, colleagues they can connect with, and a stronger network of leaders committed to improving outcomes in urban schools.
